I was appalled that my room smelled of foot odor and had such a loud, rude staff. Not to mention, when i asked for a complimentary upgrade for my trouble, the staff laughed in my face. The hotel is definitely dated, and the shower had almost non-existent water pressure. I almost would have given a good review, but just couldn't.

The hotel was a handy base for enjoying a really quiet area, close enough to taxi, horse, or felucca rides. The breakfast was gorgeous with the nile view, omelette plus hot chocolate, and the facilities where well-kept.

The location on the Nile is fantastic. The breakfast and the waiters always very nice and friendly. The rooms are large and clean.
The check in always takes a very long time. Rooms with a view into the lobby are not very inviting. Too bad I get a room like this every time. There is nothing to be read in the description about a view into the lobby.

The mattress was uncomfortable, yet the shower pressure improved significantly in the second room.

The breakfast was sufficient. The room was large, the bed very comfortable. The cafe on the terrace had a great view and even a pool was offered.
The equipment in the bathroom was a little outdated, but that doesn't bother me.

Good location, right on the Nile. Good breakfast and drinkable coffee.
Rooms, especially the bathrooms need renovation. Stains on the carpet and chair, antique tube TV. Expectations for an Iberotel were not really fulfilled. For one night, to spend the night between the visits it was ok, but also not more.

Had comfortable stay during our visit and the weather was wonderful. Loved the superior twin room we had with a view.

The breakfast meets up our expectations for a
Four-star hotel, with a beautiful patio where you can enjoy a nice view of the garden and Nile. The pool area offered a lovely ambiance, though the room had some dated features that needed attention.

Good location directly on the Nile, nice staff, large rooms, clean. Pool overlooks the Nile!
The standard rooms are all facing the covered courtyard (below is the reception), which is not nice. WiFi was not possible. Pool a bit old, everything else (carpet) a bit older. Audience mixed.

Good imformation and prompt service
The hotel is not reading the additional notes posted at booking time, they gave us a twin room when we have specified in the additional comments that we'll like a double bed.

Family with children will enjoy this
The views from my room were amazing! We had a great staff member who remembered our names.
It wasn't cheap, but it was acceptable.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Since we only stayed one night, we could not use many things, like the swimming pool.
The only shortcoming was that you could not change money, i.e. euros into Egyptian pounds, at the reception

We had a luxury stay with good value.
The room was very pretty nice, comfortable bed. The breakfast was fresh, the check in was easy. You could leave a car on-site.
